SAC School Advisory Council

 

Our School Advisory Council (SAC) is responsible for:

  • Assisting in the assessment of needs, as well as establishing priorities, defining goals, and evaluating the effectiveness of our school improvement plan.
  • Monitoring the progress and implementation of our 2024-2025 school improvement plan.
  • Developing a school improvement plan for 2025-2026.

The members on our council represent a cross-section of the ethnic, racial, and economic make-up of the community served by our school. Parents of our school community elect members of our School Advisory Council each fall. Our School Advisory Council meets throughout the year for about an hour. Participation of all council members at each meeting is vital.  SAC meets once a month. Business is conducted by our council members but all are welcome to attend.

Our SAC Meetings are held in the Media Center from 4-5 pm.
